I lived in the Czech Republic for a long time (and co-founded the pride there), as well as spent time in Barcelona, Sofia and Reykjavík. I have been living in Berlin since 2011 and really like it, even though it requires the ability to pace yourself. I studied European studies, computer science, Spanish and pedagogy & didactics (peculiar combo, I know…, possibly multiple personality disorder?) and managed to get degrees in 3 out of 4. Having degrees is no guarantee for being intelligent or smart by the way, being able to use your brain in daily life matters more. I always preferred getting a B-grade and do other useful and fun things, than getting an A but no time for anything else. In daily life, I aspire to be a pleasant, friendly and eloquent dude. I love to help out the people around me where I can. And sure I have a great place to live and material things that make life more pleasant, but way more important is that I am blessed with an ability to find amazing friends. Professionally I like what I do and have held many different jobs. I have started and managed several of my own small businesses, I worked in for a global team in a big corporation, but maybe I most enjoyed being a high school and college teacher. In my free time, I love to travel the world, but that won’t be an option for a while it seems, a chance to explore Brandenburg I guess. I have been to over 40 countries and have made friends in many places with whom I love to spend time when we get the chance. I enjoy lots of activities from clubbing to swimming, from gardening to sewing and from repairing my car to rebuilding the apartment. I like watching films, learning languages (7 fluently and another 5-6 I get by in) and love to cook (mainly Indonesian, Thai, French and Korean (I even have a Kimchi-fridge). Peculiarly, while being easy-going and confident in life, with friends and in the work place, I tend to get really shy with guys I actually really like.
