A bit about me: While I wouldn't rule out the occasional hookup, I'm mainly here to chat and jerk off Over the years I've met some decent people online, but I've also met some truly awful ones. The latter have made me cautious about the people I invite into my life Prefer wine over beer. Prefer martinis over wine. I scuba dive every week. It gets me out of my head, and gives me a glimpse into a part of our world that most people will never see. Never been in a relationship and don't expect I ever will be. I consider myself happily single and don't view my relationship status as a character flaw I value my privacy and personal space very highly, and prefer quiet one-on-one venues to large groups. I try to travel to at least one new place every year. I find it precious when young'uns write hateful profiles instead of just changing their settings to block the 99.9% of us that don't meet their stringent criteria. Youth is fleeting, and in 10 years you'll be wondering where the time went. Trust me on this one. For those of you who complain about other people's pics being 10 years old, see above. It really does go by faster than you think. I hated the 80s, but love 80s music and pop culture references. I don't get the appeal of profiles without a face pic, no matter how kick ass your bod is. I'm happy to chat with anyone, but if you don't show your face then I'm only responding to be polite "Don't be offended if I don't respond" is an insincere cop-out used by guys who haven't developed sufficient social skills to express disinterest without being unkind. Don't be offended if I make no attempt to message you. I appreciate a quick wit, but not when it's used to put other people down. The world doesn't need any more bitchy queens. When I was 25, I got a nipple ring instead of a tattoo because I figured it'll be a lot easier to remove when I'm 80 I find Facebook creepy I giggle when guys use terms like 'mancunt' and 'boypussy' and expect me to take them seriously. I'll respond to everybody who takes the time to say hello. The anonymity of the internet is no excuse for bad manners. Why can't we just be decent to each other for the sake of being decent? |
